The trailer for this was very intriguing, plus Nancy Meyers has a pretty good track record (What Women Want, Something's Gotta Give), so I gave it a shot. Now I think I'm in <3 with Jude Law and a 90+ screenwriter character called Arthur. It's a "highly recommended" from me. If you're still hesitant, I didn't hear a single sneer or complaint from the 20-something males in the audience afterwards, so either they're stunned by Cameron Diaz's performance (unlikely) or they're awe-struck by Mr Law's chivalry and sauve (highly likely).
